Linnaea’s Cafe

Linnaea's Coffee

Linnaea’s Cafe in San Luis Obispo has been a favorite coffee spot for locals for over 25 years.

Nestled among huge trees and cute shops at 1110 Garden Street, Linnaea’s is a nice place to meet friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The old brick building has comfortable seating and a large menu. Don’t let the narrow hallway in front fool you–it leads to more seating and the lovely garden patio in back.

Linnaea’s reasonable prices on coffee, tea and other awesome drinks are a bonus to great meals which start at $2.50. The shop is famous for it’s desserts and pastries. Try the Espresso Eggs for a unique experience–very good!

You’ll find lots of room for studying with your lap top or visiting with friends. In fact, our only complaint was the loud group of ladies sitting near us on the patio. This wasn’t due to crowded seating, but the volume of noise that five women can make when they are all talking at one time. We rate Linnaea’s a 5 out of 5 on our dining pleasure scale.
